Casio Men's Databank Digital Watch #EDB610-1

I have one of these right now and am looking to replace it. The watch band has cracked many times in the year since I bought it, and after numerous super-gluings, I am not even going to bother replacing the band. Why?

You can't use this watch. It has a calculator with no memory function, multi-timezone function that is nearly impossible to understand how to use, a scheduler that is also next to impossible to understand how to use (and looks like you can't remove an existing schedule!?), and supposedly can hold phone numbers and e-mail addresses, but I also cannot figure it out. This calculator watch has a user's manual that is disturbingly thick, and I still can't understand some of it. I gave up trying.

As for the basic calculator functions: To save space they took a row of buttons off from the usual DataBanks. The result is that for something as simple as performing calculations, you have to go through numerous counter-intuitive button presses in order to select the operator you want (pressing a side button once= "+," twice= "-," thrice= "x," and four times= "÷". And no memory function!? Does that make sense?

The alarm function is actually the scheduler, and it is strangely complicated to enter a simple alarm, and you can't delete it after it's been used. Or at least, if it is, it's buried somewhere in the user's manual which I gave up reading.

Save your money and your sanity and get a cheaper, classic DataBank.

Oh, and one last irritant:
If the body of the watch torques in some particular way, it will think that it is low on battery power, and so the timer/alarm will never sound (for saving battery life). I came to learn not to rely on using the timer function on this, because sometimes it wouldn't chime because of this problem, and I still haven't learned how to twist the body to get it to register normally again. This started shortly after I bought the thing, yet all this time later the battery still has plenty of juice, so it's just a design defect.Buy Casio Men's Databank Digital Watch #EDB610-1!

Casio G-Shock Ana-Digi Watch

I have had such poor customer service from Casio after paying to have my G Shock repaired that it is now my mission to poorly rate EVERY G Shock until I get a response that ISN'T computer generated. LISTENING CASIO? I refuse to pay another $45 less than 1 month after paying you $45 to repair my watch.Buy Casio G-Shock Ana-Digi Watch!

Casio Men's Classic Black Digital Resin Strap Watch #F91W-1

I ordered this item because I wanted a thin, inexpensive digital wristwatch that I could use when gardening, doing construction projects, or cleaning my garage. This way I won't mind it getting scratched (who will notice?) or dirty (just rinse it off!). I received mine in the mail this afternoon and it appears to be a perfect choice. The case is so slim that it should fit comfortably beneath the tightest shirt cuff worn on a cold winter day when pruning fruit trees in the orchard. With only a calendar, stopwatch, and alarm, it has three large, simple buttons that make for easy setting. Aesthetically, I like its clean look because it reminds me of the first digit watch I owned in the early 1980s, before the ugly Sport and G-Shock styles became the rage. Looking at it now, I wonder if I actually used to own this model back in the day. Buy Casio Men's Classic Black Digital Resin Strap Watch #F91W-1!

Casio Men's Ana-Digi Electro-Luminescent Sport Watch #AQ160W-1BV

I wear a Suunto Vector as my daily watch for work, but I wanted something lighter and cheaper that won't cost me $250 to replace. This watch has a analog display over a digital display that can be set to different timezones, stopwatch, etc. Along with automatic EL backlighting and glowing hand markers it makes a great watch for the price.Buy Casio Men's Ana-Digi Electro-Luminescent Sport Watch #AQ160W-1BV!

Casio Men's Ana-Digi 10-Year Battery Bracelet Watch #AW80D-1AV

I bought this watch over half year ago. Now I am replacing the watch with a timex.

Well, First off, I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally think this watch looks good. Yes, it is not well balanced overall, but for $20? come on, looks great at that price.

I think the watch had the potential to be great, but it missed a couple of important things.

Durability: The face scratches easy. so be careful. The buttons, well, after this half year I owned it, the buttons started to stick. Now, once in a while the button stays pressed and beeps itself to death. Granted I have taken the watch ocean swimming and exercising. On hindsight, maybe that was not a good idea. But they shouldn't say it is a 50M waterproof watch.

Design: The strap is not very flexible, I have small wrists and they can't quite wrap around my wrist. It works, but not very comfortable.

Utility: Well, I like that it has both analog and digital, the reason why I bought it. But the Interface to change the analog and the usage of the digital part is poorly designed. It is confusing and not very intuitive. I owned a similar timex and I've never had to read the manual. On DST date I always have to search for the manual on this one. That may be my fault for not getting it, but found it counter-intuitive for me. Someone mentioned about the light being useless, well it's kinda true. It is a cheap looking light that is very limited.

Overall, I think that the watch was a ok buy for a cheap watch. I have to say that I expected more from Casio. Considering how long it lasted, it is on the expensive side. But from the looks and features, it seemed cheap at first. I am giving it 3 starts because it may have been my fault. I wouldn't recommend it unless they really liked the design and can't afford something better.Buy Casio Men's Ana-Digi 10-Year Battery Bracelet Watch #AW80D-1AV!

Casio Men's Illuminator Digital Watch #F105W-1A

I decided a few months ago that I needed an another wrist watch in addition to my Seiko. I didn't really want to spend much, I just needed something that was going to be simple, easy to read, included a few basic functions (stopwatch, alarm, light, 24hr time etc.), but most of all was CLASSIC!

Of course, I looked no further than an original design by Casio, and the F105W was watch to watch. A good sturdy design, made well from excellent materials, well sized, and is actually quite comfortable to wear. Basic and conservative design is accompanied by user-friendly functions. The beep on the watch is very audible and distinct, but still discreet enough to not stand out too much. The manual was also well written and took about 5 seconds to get all the info from it.

Being a fan of all things 80s, I had to get it, and the fact that it was so cheap made it a 100% sale. The light is the perfect colour for darkness, and provides total clarity when viewing under illumination. Also the interface is set out well, and all functions and displays are all in logical positions. A total hit with all my friends, and would suit any arm on any person.

In conclusion, I couldn't be happier. If you're looking for a simple yet classic watch, this is the one to use. You can check out other models higher up in the Casio range that have higher levels of water resistance and even stainless-steel construction, but if you just want a black digital wrist watch with no strings attached, grab an F105W Illuminator, and you'll be set!Buy Casio Men's Illuminator Digital Watch #F105W-1A!

Casio Men's Sports Chronograph Alarm 10-Year Battery Databank Watch #AW80D-7AV

this is a great watch. it's nothing like the one i see at walmart on the stand that has 10 dollar watches... oh wait the prices rose =/

when i bought this watch the arm band was too big for me. i then emailed casio and they gave me a downloadable file that showed me how to get the size reduced.

Basically if you look under the armband, you will see arrows pointing outward, this means that you need to push the pin in the hole down and out in the direction of the arrow. I managed to push each of the pins out and it came out like 1 or 2 mm. then i used a nailclipper to pull it out and voila my watch is shortened. oh yeah don't forget the step about putting the metal piece back in so it holds it in place. since i didn't have any hard item to push it back in, i pounded the metal against my desk. for those who wanna be more gentle and are not economically restrained, you can use proper pliers and a jeweler's screwdriver for this (i used a psp screwdriver). that's how you can change the size of the armband. hope this helps. and this is a great watch i love the fact it's both analog and digital.

one thing though the light isn't very bright to make let you see the time its a orange yellow low light but the hands on the clock have glow in the dark thingys. overall not bad. i don't care about the low light button since i have a solar panel keychain flashlight that is ever so bright (deal extreme dot co m). hope this helps and i recommend this watch unless you are rich and you can get better but it's fine for me!Buy Casio Men's Sports Chronograph Alarm 10-Year Battery Databank Watch #AW80D-7AV!

Casio Men's Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch #EFA119BK-1AV

Thermometer doesn't work on your wrist. It must be off your wrist for 20-30 minutes to get a good reading. You can't see the reading if it's about 9 o'clock or any hour:45.

Other digits are easily obscured by the hands.

THE BAND IS A NON-STANDARD TYPE (NO PINS) SO NOT EASY TO ADJUST. THE LINKS ARE TOO BIG AND PINCH HAIR. FINE LENGTH ADJUSTMENT IS LIMITED TO TWO HOLES ON THE CLASP, which doesn't cover the range of lengths you might want.

Several design elements are totally frivolous. One has LCDs marking the seconds around the perimeter (good idea!) for the last 30 seconds of each minute, but not the first 30 secs (stoopid). Another shows how far along you are in the current 10 minute slice. As if.

Like with pretty much all watches these days, you can't count on the alarm to wake you up.

Gets maybe an extra star for being good looking.

Casio Women's Daily Alarm Digital Watch #LA11WB-1

I've been buying this watch over and over for as least 20 some years!! The simple features are the best!! I love the 1,3,5....30 minute timers!! I think that is the best feature! I also like the fact that this watch can jump in the shower or pool by accident and live through it with no problem for years. It is small, not a huge chunk of plastic on my small wrist!! If you are a down to earth, simple, active person this is the watch for you, not for the run-way models! I'm here to buy my 4th one...that tells you how long they last!! I think I will buy 2 this time just in case they stop making them....it's getting harder to find them!!Buy Casio Women's Daily Alarm Digital Watch #LA11WB-1!

Casio Men's Sea Analog Illuminator Dual LED Dive Watch #MDV102-1AV

From the product reviews and pictures, I knew I was going to get a quality watch. But what I didn't realize was when I actually received the watch, it was better than I thought. The illuminator light lights up the whole watch face, the best I have ever seen. It is stylish, and best of all water resistant up to 200 metres. Quality expected, quality delivered. Casio Men's Ana-Digi Edifice Thermometer Bracelet Watch #EFA120D-1AV

I like and dislike the watch. It is very heavy on the wrist, and rides up and down all day, rubbing my arm and pulling hair out (w/ metal band). It feels tighter in summer. The latch system seems overcomplicated. The face looks cheaper when you get up close to it. Setting it is rather byzantine - press one button six times to reset the time! There are many features, which somehow amuse me even when I don't need them - like the thermometer. The alarm - which is easily set or un-set by accidental bumps - is nice. At midnight it goes off in doubled rings, for some reason. The booklet, mostly in multiple languages, is not great. Wish the leather band version was a similar price. Probably won't get it again. Casio Men's Databank Digital Watch #DBC30-1

this watch is so cool- every function works- the only problem is that there are supposedly FAKE casios out there and this might be one only cause it has absolutely no water resistant rating on the back pannel-??? I don't want to test it so i just havn't got it wet, i'm sure it will get wet one day and only then will I know how water resistant it is... no biggie thoughBuy Casio Men's Databank Digital Watch #DBC30-1!

Casio Men's Twincept Databank Ani-Digi Resin Watch #CA53W-1

I had to replace a similar digital watch made by a rival company, but in searching the web, that company no longer made a comparable version. Fortunately, Casio made one that is almost a dead ringer for my old one, and I find the price can't be beat, either. It works perfectly, and even more important, my grandson won't miss that it's a replacement in that he loves to play with its calculator functions, a feature of the old watch. Overall, an excellent find, and I'm on time once more.Buy Casio Men's Twincept Databank Ani-Digi Resin Watch #CA53W-1!

Casio Men's World Time Databank 10-Year Battery Watch #AW80-7AV

This is a great watch with many features. I love that it is both analog and digital. I prefer to tell time in analog but frequently use the digital features like alarms and countdown timer. The only downside to this watch is the light. It doesn't illuminate the digital panel, only the analog hands. If this watch had an indiglow style light so the digital functions were visible, it would get five stars.Buy Casio Men's World Time Databank 10-Year Battery Watch #AW80-7AV!

Casio Men's Analog Bracelet Watch #MQ24-7B2

I love it! I had ~5 watches in my life. Primary reason is for surfing. I need to know when it's time to go to work, or when the parking meter will expire. This is the cheapest watch I ever owned, and also the best (ironic!). "water resist" isn't very clear... but I been surfing with it and no problems yet (couple weeks now). Originally I thought I needed 200m rating (30,50,100m are all inadequate) for surfing (water sports) based on my research on water resistance ratings. But that is FALSE!!! This watch works in the water (ocean!). The watch is light (not cumbersome) and the large face and numbers make it easy to tell the time (without squinting or looking closely). Has no light, but I don't need it. The white face makes for plenty visibility. I am so glad I didn't waste another $60 on another G-shock watch... $8.50 for this watch. Also another great thing: only 1 button. I hate many buttons (confusing/complicated watches). Also, no Alarm or StopWatch/Timer modes... just one mode: it tells me the time!!! I love it. Simplicity at its finest. Last thing: its quite slim, and light. The size/weight is perfect, in my opinion. Very un-obtrusive.Buy Casio Men's Analog Bracelet Watch #MQ24-7B2!

Casio Women's Classic Analog Bracelet Watch #LTP1165A-1C

The watch is really nice! Day or night. I can't wait to wear it! It's a bit too large for my wrist and my husband couldn't figure out how to take a couple of links off, so I have to take it to get resized. Which sucks because that means more $$! The box that it came in is really sad, so if you plan on gifting it to someone, buy a nice box for it... I got the mens watch for my husband and he loved it too.Buy Casio Women's Classic Analog Bracelet Watch #LTP1165A-1C!

Casio Women's Daily Alarm Digital Watch #LA670WA-1

I have had this watch for about 14+ years. Naturally, the battery has been replaced a few times.

Since the band is not expansion, I found a one that looks very nice on the watch. Check Wal-Mart for bands. Sometimes they have them and other times they don't.

No, it doesn't have a light. If it did you would need to replace the battery much more often so that is not a feature I look for.

Both Energizer and Maxell make battery #365 that is a perfect replacement for the 1116 that is VERY hard to find anymore. Other brands may also have this #365.

My wrist is rather small so this watch is an ideal sized digital for me.

Casio Men's G-Shock Ana-Digi Solar Atomic Watch #GW1500A-1AV

My review is going to sound like an advertizement so I will begin by saying I have no connection with Casio other than having owned several of their watches over the years.

I switched to Casio watches about 20 years ago when other watches would fail by the rough treatment I gave them in work and sports. Casio G-Shock watches took the abuse and would run until I decided to take advantage of a new model with new features I wanted. The Ana-Digi Solar is for my use the best watch I have ever owned. I can read the analog time without my glasses, the watch is self-setting to the exact time and the battery stays charged just by wearing the watch, just don't let a shirt sleeve cover the sensor for an extended time (several days).

I did find the watch difficult to adjust; trying to follow the instructions, I accidentaly took it out of adjustment, but a call to Casio Customer Service and the technition quickly give me instructions for correcting the settings for perfect functioning.

This watch is, to me amazing, as I watch the hands automatically spin to daylight savings time or a new time zone and stop at the exact time.

This is a watch one can set and have perfect time keeping for years without any futher attention. What is there left to improve in wrist watches design? I cannot imagine.Buy Casio Men's G-Shock Ana-Digi Solar Atomic Watch #GW1500A-1AV!
