Casio Men's G-Shock Geiz Series Multi-Band Solar Atomic Watch #GS1100-2A

This is my first Casio G-Shock watch (I'm a loyal Citizens customer) and my first impressions are very positive:

1. Watch has some heft to it and the oversized look is very sporty and masculine in appearance. I prefer these resin watch bands; they keep the watch in-place better on your wrist...don't slide around as much as leather or metal bands. Plus they weather the wear & tear better.

2. Took the watch out of the box, flipped through the quick user guide, sat by a window facing West, pressed a few buttons and the watch basically set itself. SUPER EASY!

The solar power and auto atomic time setting features mean I'll rarely, if ever, need to replace the battery or set the date/time. This is why I am also a fan of the Citizen watches that have solar power and perpetual calendars. Why would anyone buy a watch that doesn't power and set itself?

3. Like other reviews have noted, I do wish the watch face was just a bit bigger. The blue watch face plate is very sharp and makes reading the dials a breeze. You do have to look closely to make out the day dial.

4. It appears as if the protective guard that wraps around the watch face is easy to remove. This is good considering I can see a fair amount of dust/debris possibly getting trapped in the various crevices.

As far as I can tell, I am now a loyal Casio G-Shock customer as well. Thanks to MyTimepiece.com for super fast and free shipping.Buy Casio Men's G-Shock Geiz Series Multi-Band Solar Atomic Watch #GS1100-2A!
