Casio Men's Databank Watch #DB37H-1AV

I had bought the older model DB36-1AV 7 years ago only to find that the buttons on the side was inconvenient for me. This watch has the buttons on the front which eliminated my wrist from unintentionally pushing the buttons. It has 5 alarms, 30 page data bank, stop watch, count down timer, dual time, daylight savings, auto light-on with a flick of the wrist (can be turned on/off), 50M water resist, and 10 year battery. I have an older 10 Year battery Casio which is 7 years old and it's still running on the same battery, original band still intact, wore everyday. This watch is one of the most rugged watches that I've ever owned. Buy Casio Men's Databank Watch #DB37H-1AV!

Casio Men's G-Shock Atomic Tough Solar Watch #GW330A-9V

This watch does exactly what is says it will. It recharges itself from daylight or artificial light and synchronizes itself automatically with an atomic clock in Fort Collins Colorado.

When the watch arrived, the battery indicator read medium. After a short while outdoors on a sunny day, it was reading high. The sequence of button presses to adjust things seems draconian at first, but once you get the hang of it, it is quite logical.

I love this watch, so why didn't I give it 5 stars? Because Casio thinks we can all read incredibly small displays. Those circular "windows" are almost useless without a magnifying glass. The rightmost one indicates what functions are on. The center one indicates the charge level. The leftmost one appears to be nothing more than an analog display of what part of the hour it is. It may have other functions, but since I don't use the watch for alarms or stopwatch, etc., I wouldn't know. If that isn't enough, the printed manual requires a magnifying glass as well. You would be better served by searching the Internet for "GW330A-9V manual" and download it in PDF format which you can display at a comfortable reading size.

The good far outweighs the bad, but the joy of having a watch for around fifty bucks that keeps better time than your friend's Rolex...Priceless!Buy Casio Men's G-Shock Atomic Tough Solar Watch #GW330A-9V!

Casio Men's Sport Watch #W753-3AV

Although the intended purpose is mostly for a surfer, my husband LOVES his watch for the use of being informed about the tides in our area for fishing. The instructions for setting up the watch were a bit confusing at first, but with a little attention it is a hurdle well worth overcoming for the payoff of the local information.Buy Casio Men's Sport Watch #W753-3AV!

Casio Men's Waveceptor Atomic Watch #WVA109HDA-2BV

Unquestionably the most capable watch for its price (and much higher). Has just about every feature worth having, and in an attractive package, to boot.

The manual is indeed confusing, but don't despair. Go to Casio.com, Support, Manuals, Manual Archive, enter Module No. 4772. This simple instruction set will make it easy.

BTW, my 4-year old of this model is still going on its original battery.

Another BTW: Casio WVA 109HDA-7AV is the identical module, slightly different dial design, black, same Amazon price.

Casio Men's Ana-Digi Alarm Chronograph Dive Watch #AMW320D-9EV

After 10 years of really rough activity including surviving a falling tree incident (don't ask)and salt water contact (I live on Cape Cod)I can say unequivocally that this is one tough mother. What's not to like? Looks cool (if you like big and macho), super accurate, good features and of course, cheap. Nothing is perfect, naturally, nor is this watch: (1) plastic wrist band is utterly disposable--but cheap to replace; (2) luminosity quickly fades. After about six months I could expect about 30 minutes of nighttime readability. Some reviews praise this feature so perhaps new editions have better glow stuff; (3) one or both buttons will eventually stick from sweat and general grunge. Fix? Small amount of silicone lube, then work the button for a while. Hopefully the lube will not attack the button seals; (4)alarm not loud enough to wake me and I'm a light sleeper.Buy Casio Men's Ana-Digi Alarm Chronograph Dive Watch #AMW320D-9EV!
