Casio Men's World Time Ana-Digi Data Bank 10-Year-Battery Watch #AW80V-3BV

Accurate. cool looking casual watch. easy to read analog time. month/day/date are digital and perpetual calendar so no need to adjust on short months as with analog watches - huge in my opinion. nylon/velcro strap much preferred to plastic.

resetting the time for d/s/t is quick if you hold down the button rather than clicking it many times

i don't need a lighted dial but if that is important other reviews should be read.

the face/dial is actually a pleasant yellow-biege so i don't know why it's listed as white. the border with the minute dashes is white.

if the battery lasts anywhere near 10 years and the watch continues to function it will be the watch bargain of the century :)

Casio Men's G-Shock Tough Culture Watch #DW6900FS-8

I bought one of these white Casio watches about 3 years ago. It's a great watch and love the atomic feature BUT I wish I had know the white color is just painted on. It rubs off and looks pretty bad when it does. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't have worn it as a everyday watch and maybe it would have stayed looking nice longer. I called Casio customer service to ask them if all of their colored or white watches were just painted on finishes and yep, they are. Maybe someday they will make the housing and bands with color all the way through, just not there yet.Buy Casio Men's G-Shock Tough Culture Watch #DW6900FS-8!

Casio Men's G-Shock Gulfman Tide and Moon Watch #G9100-1

PROS:
1) comfortable watch to wear: as other reviewers point out, it feels well balanced despite it's physical size.

2) Fits well, even for smaller wrist sizes: the material, shape of the band and its width all work to make this a comfortable watch.

3) Titanium backing (lightweight and resists corrosion).

4) The tide and moon functions seem to be fairly accurate and are fun/useful to have readily available.

5) Really, it's not that bulky when compared to many other watches. For example it's comparable to a self winding analog watch.

CONS:
1) It's bulk is felt if you wear it with tight fitting sleaves (such as knitted wrists on a jacket).

2) The booklet that comes with it is a little tedius to use (small pages and print), which may be why some people found it difficult to set up. However, you can easily find a .pdf file on the Internet that is full size and easier to read.

In general, the Moon Phase and Tide functions require you to invest a little more time in learning to use the watch - but that ought to be expected. In the end, you may even enjoy learning some of the science behind it.Buy Casio Men's G-Shock Gulfman Tide and Moon Watch #G9100-1!

Casio Men's Electro Luminescence Digital Bracelet Watch #A168W-1

Chinese-made digital Casio, chrome face, mineral crystal, stainless back, stainless adjustable band, day + date (no month), 12hr/24hr, alarm, chrono/split. Really bright blue backlight, ie. "electro luminescence", egaged by pushing the Light button.
You can't compare an $18 watch to your $300 citizen, but I give the watch itself a 5, because I think it's got a cool unique face, and is functional - in a retro, circa 1985 way.
I took off 1 star because of the band, which actually looks nice from the outside - but the underside is a little rough, has unfinished edges, and catches arm hair easily. I used 400 grit sandpaper to smooth the edges, and it's much more comfortable now. They obviously save money by not hand finishing these bands.Buy Casio Men's Electro Luminescence Digital Bracelet Watch #A168W-1!

Casio Men's Waveceptor Atomic Watch #WVA107HA-1AV

I recently purchased the Casio Men's Waveceptor Atomic Watch #WVA107HA-1AV. I am very impressed with this watch both in style and function. It updates when scheduled and I have not had to go out of my way to insure reception in New York from Colorado. At first I missed the sweeping second hand, but unless you are timing something in seconds, it's really not necessary. I've learned I can do without. It looks awesome, and after going six months without a watch, it was nice to have a dependable time piece once again. The durable rubber watch band took some getting used to, but I bet I wear out before it does. Though I am not out to impress, it looks like watches I have seen in magazines for $400.00 or more. In short, I love this watch and you cannot beat the price.Buy Casio Men's Waveceptor Atomic Watch #WVA107HA-1AV!

Casio Men's Ana-Digi Forester Illuminator Sport Watch #FT600WB-5BV

I've been wearing this type of watch (Casio Analog-Digital Forester Illuminator) for over ten years. They last for about three years and then the digital display starts to fade away (even with new batteries). The Forester works well everywhere from winter camping in the mountains to summer hiking in the desert. The push button illuminator is very handy in the middle of the night and the dual time zone feature is helpful when traveling. The watch can take a lot of abuse and still keep perfect time.Buy Casio Men's Ana-Digi Forester Illuminator Sport Watch #FT600WB-5BV!

Casio Men's Analog Bracelet Watch #MQ24-7B

This is a very nice watch. It does its job and is easy to read (and cheap).

I was trying to decide between this model, the similar-looking Casio MQ24-1B (black), and the MQ24-7E (white, without numerals). I thought the other two might look a little bit nicer, but I eventually decided on this product, the MQ24-7B, because I thought it would probably be more readable than either of the others, and that is the most important thing.

Before this, I had almost always used a digital watch, but I'm quite happy with this one. I have to get used to remembering what day of the month it is instead of checking my watch, and I can't set alarms anymore, but that's not a big problem. If I hold it within about a foot of my ear, I can hear it softly ticking, but otherwise it seems to be silent.

Yes, the band will probably break long before the watch stops working.Buy Casio Men's Analog Bracelet Watch #MQ24-7B!

Casio Men's Moon Phase Tide Graph Sport Watch #W753D-1AV

I bought this watch because it had the moon phase and tide graph, they work great, but aren't very useful here in Charlotte, NC.

Casio Men's G-Shock Geiz Series Multi-Band Solar Atomic Watch #GS1100-2A

This is my first Casio G-Shock watch (I'm a loyal Citizens customer) and my first impressions are very positive:

1. Watch has some heft to it and the oversized look is very sporty and masculine in appearance. I prefer these resin watch bands; they keep the watch in-place better on your wrist...don't slide around as much as leather or metal bands. Plus they weather the wear & tear better.

2. Took the watch out of the box, flipped through the quick user guide, sat by a window facing West, pressed a few buttons and the watch basically set itself. SUPER EASY!

The solar power and auto atomic time setting features mean I'll rarely, if ever, need to replace the battery or set the date/time. This is why I am also a fan of the Citizen watches that have solar power and perpetual calendars. Why would anyone buy a watch that doesn't power and set itself?

3. Like other reviews have noted, I do wish the watch face was just a bit bigger. The blue watch face plate is very sharp and makes reading the dials a breeze. You do have to look closely to make out the day dial.

4. It appears as if the protective guard that wraps around the watch face is easy to remove. This is good considering I can see a fair amount of dust/debris possibly getting trapped in the various crevices.

As far as I can tell, I am now a loyal Casio G-Shock customer as well. Thanks to MyTimepiece.com for super fast and free shipping.Buy Casio Men's G-Shock Geiz Series Multi-Band Solar Atomic Watch #GS1100-2A!

Casio Women's Baby-G Shock Resistant Sports Watch #BG169A-1AV

My daughter, a young Naval officer, requested this watch for Christmas. She was ecstatic when she received it. She described this as the best of this type of watch. She will be using this in her duties for the Navy, but also when she is performing personal exercise training for herself and to keep in shape for the physical testing required by the Navy. I briefly attempted to set the time on it so it would be functioning when she opened the gift, but, being technically challenged, I left that to her. When I mentioned that to her she said she did have to read the instruction book to understand how to use all the functions. After reading the instruction booklet she felt confident that she was able to use all the functions on the watch. Wish I could feel that confident after reading instructions on operating this computer! Buy Casio Women's Baby-G Shock Resistant Sports Watch #BG169A-1AV!

Casio Men's Sea Pathfinder Tide Watch #SPF40-1V

i got this watch as a birthday present from my wife and what a gift it was. this watch is almost perfect. The digital compass, the barometer, tidal chart, and moon age functions work great. the only part that is questionable is the thermometer. while wearing the watch you wont get an accurate reading you have to have it off of you body for around 15 mins. but other than that its great. the size is awesome but i like large watches so some people might not like that part. if you are an outdoorsman get this watch. 5 stars!Buy Casio Men's Sea Pathfinder Tide Watch #SPF40-1V!

Casio Men's Multilingual Databank Watch #DB36-1AV

I've purchased this watch 3 times. It is such a good watch that when the previous 2 broke over the years, I bought replacement. The first one's band broke as others have stated...this "resin" band doesn't like to bend repeatedly. About 3 years of daily wear snapped the band. My second unit accidentally served as a teething ring for my 10-month old and I think he jammed/cracked one of the face buttons. I took the watch apart to try and fix and ended up tossing it. This is not a G-shock Casio but for $17 it really does it all. I have a small collection of watches ranging from an expensive Japanese domestic market Seiko Chronograph to a colorful G-Shock Casio but I wear this lightweight, simple watch 99% of the time. Why 4 stars? Casio needs to make a more durable band. It's obviously part of their planned-obsolesence marketing strategy. Buy Casio Men's Multilingual Databank Watch #DB36-1AV!

Casio Men's G-Shock Classic Digital Sports Watch #G7301B-3V

Bought this for my son, for two features: solar power and yacht racing timer. Casio watches offer a good value, and each model offers a slightly different combination of features aimed at specific uses. The controls are intuitive for such a full-featured watch.

It was purchased when previous Casio Pathfinder waterproofing failed after an $[...] battery replacement by Casio, but it was beyond Casio warranty, so replacement with this watch was cheaper than repair of the old Pathfinder. Hopefully this watch will last longer, since it is solar powered and should not have to be serviced for a long time. My family is "hard on watches". We have owned several Casio watches and they perform well, and are as durable as any other watches in their price range. Buy Casio Men's G-Shock Classic Digital Sports Watch #G7301B-3V!

Casio Men's Multifunction Sport Watch #W94HF-8AV

Perfect regatta watch. I have used this watch for many years and currently own two of them. The best feature is the repeating countdown timer with audible alert every minute, 30s, 20s, 10s, 5,4,3,2,1 ... (this is not a common feature in other Casio watches - unfortunately) You can hear it in heavy air on the starting line, which can't be said about many other, much more expensive, watches. Over the years, I have gone through half a dozen or more of those, primarily because they got pulled off by a line or ripped off from my hand in some other fashion. Never gave it a second thought because it is so cheap, always carry a backup in my bag to a regatta. You can hand one to your crew or a friend and if it does not come back - oh well... The band is solid. The only disadvantage is that it is hard to keep it completely clean if you live an active life and spend some time in the water. Not quite good enough to wear as a dress watch unless it is new (although I have been doing just that for a while). Never had to replace the battery. You will get some scratches, but to my knowledge, this is essentially unbreakable watch. Also, no gimmick features like moon-phase...
- dual time is good if you travel across timezones occasionally
- alarm is loud
- stopwatch with the usual features
- countdown - the best
- back-light is bright enough
reliable, practical, durable, light, inexpensive and OK looking
good luck

Casio Men's Databank Watch #DB37HD-7AV

I have to buy another casio because this one's case isn't metal and finally the pin holding the strap broke through the plastic pin-holder (probably my fault). i won't buy another DB-37h mainly because i sometimes inadvertently press and hold the 12/24H button (for example, while sleeping), which causes the watch to change to DST (which is indicated by a small DST sign) and the time increases by 1 hour. so, occasionally, one goes to events 1 hour early (I guess it's better than getting there one hour late). What idiot thought of this - it totally ruins the watch - all you need for this to happen once.Buy Casio Men's Databank Watch #DB37HD-7AV!

Casio Men's Pathfinder Multi-Band Solar Atomic Black Watch #PAW1300-1V

Had the watch for 5 months, here's what I think
Pros: It does all what it says!! Slim design, light weight, large display easy to read at a glance, Solar charging is ok so far, I don't really charge it that much but the indicator is at High.
Timer, stopwatch and alarms all working good, digital compass is accurate, Atomic time keeping is really great.
Cons:
- Rubber band sucks!
- Altimeter always off, not accurate at all, tried to adjust it several times then gave up on it!! I'm not talking about moving to different places, I measure the altitude at home and at work, it gives me different reading every time.
- Barometer is a little bit off but close enough.
-The Auto backlight keeps accidently turning on and it consumes a lot of battery power so I had to turn it off.
-Always have to keep the User's Manual handy; I have to check it every time I want to change display settings, measuring units... etc.
- I left the thermometer to the end because it's the worst!!!!!!
It reads my body temp or around it, to accurately measure the temp you have to take the watch off your wrist and WAIT AT LEAST 30 MIN!!!!!!!! What's the point of having a thermometer in my watch that I have to wait ages, the response is so slow, I understand that it should pick the body heat but I was expecting it to adjust faster when you take it off. No matter where you were, at home, work or in your vehicle, if you want to know the temp at that moment... you can't SO I THINK THE THERMOMETER IS POINTLESS.

Casio Men's G-Shock Solar Atomic Watch #GW700A-9V

I have had this watch for about a month and it is great!! Everything you would expect from a G-Shock. Even for its big size it fits comfortably on my wrist, I weigh a 150 Lbs so my wrists are quite small and since it is so comfortable I usually don't even know I'm wearing it. The EL Display works great and the auto backlight is a great feature. It syncs with the atomic clock in Denver every evening and I have checked the time with the atomic clock on the internet and it is within spec (+/- 0.05 seconds) when I check it :-). Great looking watch that will last you a long time and the display has excellent protection from scratches, you would really have to go out of your way to do some damage to it. The charge indicator has always been HIGH since I have recieved it, granted I live in Phoenix Az where it's sunny almost every day, and it even goes to sleep with you at night (Display shuts off to save battery life). Great watch, great price and looks and feels awesome - I don't believe you will be disappointed in the purchase of this watch.Buy Casio Men's G-Shock Solar Atomic Watch #GW700A-9V!

Casio Men's Waveceptor Solar Atomic Ana-Digi Sport Watch #WV430DJ-1

Depending on how your Waveceptor is put together will determine if your watch is water resistant; My Waveceptor is not!!!

On the outside this watch is all metal, but that is where it ends. The four screws holding the stainless back on are anchored into a plastic casing on inside the watch. When my watch was made one of the screws must have been stripped allowing the back to let in moisture. I didn't send the watch in to get "fixed" and decided to dry the watch out myself. (Note: Had I sent the watch in for repair this may have been a three star review.) Well I've had to dry my watch out three times and can not wear it hiking as the sweat from my body will fog up the watch crystal.

Speaking of the crystal. I can understand why it is not made out of glass as it has to let through as much light as possible to charge the battery.

All in all this is a great timepiece. I just would not recommend you wear it near water or during any sports activities.

Casio Men's Digital Sport Watch #W756D-7AV

If you are looking for a cheap watch that looks decent, seems fairly durable and has some basic features then this is a decent watch. Here's a couple initial annoyances I noticed though: the stopwatch will only measure in minutes and seconds (no tenths or hundreds of a second) and inexplicably keeps a running time from when you start the stopwatch that in fact has 100s of a second. You just can't stop the running time only reset it back to 0. There is no lap feature either. Also the various buttons on the watch turn on/off features when you are just in view mode, so it seems like you could easily turn something off or on. All in all, for $25 what can you expect, but the lack of a true stopwatch could be a deal breaker for somebody out there.Buy Casio Men's Digital Sport Watch #W756D-7AV!

Casio Men's Databank Digital Watch #EDB610-1

I have one of these right now and am looking to replace it. The watch band has cracked many times in the year since I bought it, and after numerous super-gluings, I am not even going to bother replacing the band. Why?

You can't use this watch. It has a calculator with no memory function, multi-timezone function that is nearly impossible to understand how to use, a scheduler that is also next to impossible to understand how to use (and looks like you can't remove an existing schedule!?), and supposedly can hold phone numbers and e-mail addresses, but I also cannot figure it out. This calculator watch has a user's manual that is disturbingly thick, and I still can't understand some of it. I gave up trying.

As for the basic calculator functions: To save space they took a row of buttons off from the usual DataBanks. The result is that for something as simple as performing calculations, you have to go through numerous counter-intuitive button presses in order to select the operator you want (pressing a side button once= "+," twice= "-," thrice= "x," and four times= "÷". And no memory function!? Does that make sense?

The alarm function is actually the scheduler, and it is strangely complicated to enter a simple alarm, and you can't delete it after it's been used. Or at least, if it is, it's buried somewhere in the user's manual which I gave up reading.

Save your money and your sanity and get a cheaper, classic DataBank.

Oh, and one last irritant:
If the body of the watch torques in some particular way, it will think that it is low on battery power, and so the timer/alarm will never sound (for saving battery life). I came to learn not to rely on using the timer function on this, because sometimes it wouldn't chime because of this problem, and I still haven't learned how to twist the body to get it to register normally again. This started shortly after I bought the thing, yet all this time later the battery still has plenty of juice, so it's just a design defect.Buy Casio Men's Databank Digital Watch #EDB610-1!

Casio Men's Classic Black Digital Resin Strap Watch #F91W-1

I ordered this item because I wanted a thin, inexpensive digital wristwatch that I could use when gardening, doing construction projects, or cleaning my garage. This way I won't mind it getting scratched (who will notice?) or dirty (just rinse it off!). I received mine in the mail this afternoon and it appears to be a perfect choice. The case is so slim that it should fit comfortably beneath the tightest shirt cuff worn on a cold winter day when pruning fruit trees in the orchard. With only a calendar, stopwatch, and alarm, it has three large, simple buttons that make for easy setting. Aesthetically, I like its clean look because it reminds me of the first digit watch I owned in the early 1980s, before the ugly Sport and G-Shock styles became the rage. Looking at it now, I wonder if I actually used to own this model back in the day. Buy Casio Men's Classic Black Digital Resin Strap Watch #F91W-1!
