You can't compare an $18 watch to your $300 citizen, but I give the watch itself a 5, because I think it's got a cool unique face, and is functional - in a retro, circa 1985 way.
I took off 1 star because of the band, which actually looks nice from the outside - but the underside is a little rough, has unfinished edges, and catches arm hair easily. I used 400 grit sandpaper to smooth the edges, and it's much more comfortable now.
