The Inside Out of the Casio Pathfinder SPW1000 2v

Most people I talked to who bought the Casio Pathfinder SPW1000 2v told me they bought it because of all the outdoor activities that are involved. From fishing, hiking, scuba diving, motorcycling and camping. This is a great clock for the kind of outsider. It has more features, then you can have and use every time. The accuracy of this watch is good and the fact that you do not need a battery to power this baby makes it even moredesirable.

The reason why you don't need to use a battery is because this watch gets its power form... drum roll please.... Solar power! Yes indeed.... no need for batteries! Once you have this watch under sunlight or lights indoors, it can power your watch just as good as a watch with a traditional battery!

For those of you that don't like large watches around your wrist.. you may want to stay clear of this pathfinder. its probably one of the largest watches I have ever seen worn on my wrist... and I have had many watches around my wrist throughout the years! However, it is light in weight so you don't really notice the size of the watch whilst you are wearing it!

Some of the features on this watch include a timer, barometer for forecasting weather changes, compass for underwater and land navigation, depth gauge that monitors and logs multiple dives. thermometer, alarm, water resistant up to 330 feet, Atomic Timekeeping and a Resin Band. I believe this watch was designed for divers but you must bare in mind that casio rates this watch for only recreational swimming and snorkeling purpose... its NOT a professional diving watch.

On a final note, the casio pathfinder does live up to all expectations! Its fun to use and is attractive to wear. I'm sure you'll be happy with its durability and style.
